The 19th Gynecological Endocrinology World Congress is set to be truly impressive.
With a new, larger venue at the Fortezza da Basso, and events running across 9 congress halls simultaneously, the 19th edition promises to be bigger and better and ever.
The Congress will host a total of 140 sessions, including 24 symposia organized by international scientific societies, 13 of which are part of the International Federation of the Societies of Gynecological Endocrinology (FISGE).
Significant emphasis has also been placed on the Congress’s educational initiatives.
As usual ISGE offered up a remarkable number of merit-based scholarships to support students, trainees, post-docs and researchers of all kinds to attend, with 100 Full Congress Package scholarships (each one including congress registration, hotel accommodation and teaching course participation) assigned to students, trainees or post-docs under the age of 35. In addition to these, the Scientific Committee awarded the authors of accepted abstracts a number of bursaries covering the full or partial costs of registration fees. Scholarship recipients will also have the opportunity to attend an exclusive training course reserved for them.
The Scientific Committee was delighted by the large number of abstracts received- almost 900 – and by the high quality of the scientific work in evidence. All of the abstracts presented at the Congress will be brought together in a supplement published alongside the new open-access ISGE journal GREM, which will be launched at the Congress.
All of this and much more is waiting for you at the ISGE World Congress. Do not miss out this opportunity!
We look forward to seeing you in Florence.
